ABOUT DOWNWARD DOG RETREATS
Founded by a Yogi and a Pilates teacher, our aim is to create retreats which take you away from the everyday so you can reconnect with your body through the power of movement and nature. But not only that, our retreats are also centered around self-development, giving you time to reassess where you are in life and what personal and professional goals you want to work towards next. Oh and of course, they are about meeting other awesome females too!
Sarah is a Yoga Alliance certified Hatha & Vinyasa Yoga instructor & Gong practitioner, trained under Nathalie Dubreu at the Wellbeing Yoga School & Gong Master, Mark Swan at Gong Healing.
Sarah’s yoga classes always involve flowing movement and music to help quieten mental activity and create an energy within the room. Sarah is a strong believer that yoga is for everyone; ‘If you can breathe you can do yoga.’ When not doing yoga (or playing the gong!) Sarah can be found drinking coffee or researching the next biohacking craze!
Hannah is a 600-hour qualified Pilates teacher who trained under Master Trainer Anoushka Boone at the Pilates in Motion Studio, London. She initially got into Pilates due to experiencing lower back pain which she found Pilates helped her to manage. She’s passionate about full body movement and helping others to feel the benefits of Pilates. When not doing Pilates she can usually be found reading Harry Potter, stalking other people’s sausage dogs and walking by the ocean.
